Assignment Topics

Group 1: (Molly, Shondra, Jessi, Valen, Rebecca, Zak)
Rat Race
The hamster wheel continuously spins for you and me. People are constantly running in place to get to work, to get home, and to get through a rushed sleep. We no longer feel human.

Group 2: ( Caleb, Indie, Ashley, Cassie, Amy, Jenyann, Greg))
Selfie
People get into their own little bubble when they take selfies. Every year there are hundreds of cases of people falling off mountains or getting hit by cars just so they can snap the perfect photo. At least they have something to show for their deaths. Cheese!

Group 3: (Devin, Jane, Chase, Aubs)
Space Junk
There is far more trash floating around the Earth in space than most of us realize. Broken satellites, pieces of old rocket launches, broken up fragments of abandoned space stations, even tools dropped by astronauts - it's all still up there, floating around at thousands of miles an hour. If you drop something in orbit it doesn't drift out into space; it just becomes a tiny satellite, whizzing around like some space cowboy. Bang… bang…

Advanced Illustration Group: (Aubs, Josh, Courtney,Thomas)
For the advanced illustration class, students in this group will get to choose the topic of the social issue they wish to illustrate for the assignment.
Aubs: Space Junk
Josh: Hong Kong NBA
Courtney: Technology & Babies
Thomas: Gym People
